With today being the first day of all of the fun holiday months we have ahead, we decided to do a craft. We picked these little masks up at Joann's for a $1.00. Check out Michaels, Joann's or your local craft store, they almost always have a $1.00 section with fun small projects. It gives you something different from your daily routine without breaking the bank. :) Happy October!

I asked Jackson a a few questions about Mom's this morning and thought you might like to hear some of his answers....
A girl. (what kind of girl?) A BIG Mom Girl.
What does a Mom do?
Boring things--things on the computer, things that are boring, just things.
What are Mom's really good at?
Cleaning up boys.
How does a Mom help?
They clean up my bedroom and all that kinda cool stuff.
What would the Best Mom in the World be like?
Her would look like you. She would make my bed all the time, her would do all sorts of stuff I wanted her to do. Her would give me squeezes like this. Take me to the beach, to the playground and go wherever I want to.
What do Mom's do for Dad's?
They could do lots of things, if they have time.
Funny kid. I love hearing what kids have to say about life.
Oh and I got a Lightening McQueen for Mother's Day...beat that! This is what he said to me after I opened it..."I decided I didn't need Sooooo many Lightening McQueens."
Our milk turned green from those pesky leprechauns and Jackson and Marc took green lunches with them this morning. We have a green dinner this evening and if that isn't enough green St. Patrick's day fun for you, I am not sure what would be.... :) I hope you are enjoying your St. Patrick's Day!
...the goose is getting fat....we'll I don't know if the goose is getting fat, but I sure have been watching my jeans get a little tighter and stomach a little pudgier, but heck, it's Christmas I am not sure of another time of year I am surrounded by so many great treats, opportunities to eat out, and cold snowy-no-way-to-possibly-get-exercise weather (don't tell me I could find a DVD exercise and do it on t.v...I'll just admit it, I am too lazy. ha.).

My sister-in-law, introduced me to it and I thought I would pass it along. I just shared it with Jackson and he loved it. It is a website where you enter in information about your child and then they hear/see Santa say things about them/to them. I love how personal you can make it for each child. Thankful for a son who loves to be with his Dad and a Dad who loves to have his son with him
I feel like I have so much to be thankful for at this time in my life. I am thankful to be where I am. You know those times in your life where everything just seems to be right? Well, I happen to be right there and I am thankful to be here. I know it doesn't always last, but I will savor it for the time being. I am thankful for my family and am glad I get to spend time with them during the next few days. I LOVE when Marc gets time off.

So, sorry I have been a little M.I.A. the last week or so. Life got crazy with Church Halloween Parties, School Halloween Parties, and me trying to get Jackson's and Bennett's Halloween Costumes finished. I thought I would just share a quick re-cap of our Halloween.
Jackson spotted a Hamburger Costume weeks before Halloween, but I wasn't willing to pay the price they were asking for it, so I decided to make it for him. I was pretty excited that it actually turned out. :)
Since Jackson was set on being a Hamburger, I decided to add Bennett into the action and make him a Hot Dog. Their costumes turned out pretty cute. Jackson loved being a Hamburger and put on his costume any chance he got. Bennett was a bit clueless to the holiday, but was all smiles. :)
