"Mom, do you have something to wipe my hands with?"
"Sorry Jackson I don't right now. What do you need it for (looking at his hands a noticing they are relatively clean looking)."
"I thought it was a rock."
"What did you think was a rock?"
"Don't be mad."
"I won't be mad, just hurry and tell me what you touched."
"It was dead."
"Jackson? What. was. it. ?"
"I am so sorry Mom, it was Rat! It was a dead rat!"
"Don't touch anything!"
What typical Jackson responses! Ha! Oh my goodness... that's gross.

Boys will be boys I guess? Last week I took my kids to see some old trains on display in our town. I stooped for a moment to take a few photos and here comes my 15 month old toddling up to me with a rotting bird carcass covered in maggots. I have never been so disgusted, mortified or quick to respond. Thank goodness for water bottles, hand wipes and portable hand sanitizer.
Uggh, its nice to now I'm not the only one :)
