A few weeks ago I had a food spa night with the "beehives" (girls age 12 & 13) from my church. We put cucumbers on our eyes and rubbed homemade facials on our skin. It was a ton of fun and here was the facial recipe (I combined a few I saw online):
Banana Oatmeal Mask
1 medium to large banana; mushy (think banana bread-ready) and peeled
1/3 to 1/2 cup oatmeal
Mash oatmeal and banana together until oatmeal is moist. Apply to face and leave on for 15 to 20 minutes. Rinse with warm water.
To add to the "ambiance" of a facial night, you can also dim the lights, light some yummy-smelling candles, and put on some relaxing tunes!
